Author stems away from placing their personal opinion within the article. Facts seem backed up such as the shooter being driven by anti-semitic hate, especially with the evidence that police found in his home. The author is able to attribute statements taken by people. As for the authors background, he seems to be credible. Looking into his autobiography it states that he has won an award by The Idaho Press Club naming him Rookie of the Year in 2015. He even has previous works and I had no trouble finding him when searching his name. There are no question on the relevance and logic on the article that he has written.

Sammy, C (30 Oct. 2018) Sacramento Interfaith Community Gathers After Pittsburgh Synagogue

Overall the author tries to keep her opinion to herself, considering the delicate subject. Mostly the article states the events that occured at the memorial on all the victims of the shooting. The names of the victims being read aloud aw well as many people coming to pay their respects whether the were part of the community or not many were affected. As for attribution the author incorporated various statements of people within the jewish community. The author also seems to have a well put background with her autobiography stating that she has degrees in journalism and gender studies from Northwestern University. The relevance of the time the article was written does not raise any questions as well as the logic within the time the article states the memorial took place
