It been quite a journey the last couple of 3 months, trying to figure out who I am as well as juggling a job and college work, which is certainly a challenge. Looking back I’ve made quite a few friendships, which I hope will last for years to come. At first it was hard to adjust to my new circumstances but with the help of my new friends, roomate, courses and professors it certainly did help cheer me up. Entering college was certainly eye opening for me as well as scary I was trying to figure out who I am, and honestly I wasn't even sure what it is that I wanted to do or who I wanted to become. I was constantly looking for reassurement from my family and friends, but I knew that eventually it was I who had to make the decision because when it came down to it, it was my life. After reading constant articles about various fields I considered of possibly entering, I came to the conclusion of becoming a physician's assistant. It isn't too much schooling and it would allow m

For the mother of Juan Diaz to not be excited that her son had retrieved the money that she moped about for days, something that had caused her to curse the whole world as well as everyone inside it seems odd,. And yet not show even the slightest amount of happiness or relief being able to give her parents money seems more than odd. In my perspective it could be for the fact that her accusations of it being one of her children's fault was on point. She was probably happy inside for receiving the money, but disappointed at her son. Him retrieving the money and explaining the truth could have allowed her to give her son forgiveness as well as not getting mad or punishing him, for it was his friends who had committed the crime. It could also be for the fact that her personality isn't of a happy person. Coming from a low-income family and never using the money for her children, but for her parents she seems fine with her way of living. The money being taken from her caused

Of the evidence gathered for formal essay # 2 and #3, the articles used seemed to be from credible sources but the source that I had chosen to replace with a more credible source on Stockton data base is the following below William, E (2018). Colin Kaepernick Has Created $43 Million in Buzz for Nike in Less Than 24 Hours, Money, Retrieved. ( Oct. 28, 2018) From. http://time.com/money/5386537/colin-kaepernick-has-created-43-million-in-buzz-for-nike-in-less-than-24-hours/ Though this source seems to be from a credible publication with the author having a somewhat credible background having experience with the New York Post and CBS Newspath Sports, but nothing to indicate if he had possible schooling to become a journalist. He managed to keep his opinions away the articles main purpose and stated nothing but facts. He was also able to keep the article relevant to the time period the events took place and overall seems logical. Aside from all of this I would replace this source with

Riggins, A (29 Oct, 2018) Thousands gather at San Diego synagogue to honor Pittsburgh victims,  The San Diego Union Tribune, Retrieved. (5 Nov, 2018) From. http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/public-safety/sd-me-san-diego-vigil-jewish-synagogoue-shooting-victims-20181029-story.html Author stems away from placing their personal opinion within the article. Facts seem backed up such as the shooter being driven by anti-semitic hate, especially with the evidence that police found in his home. The author is able to attribute statements taken by people. As for the authors background, he seems to be credible. Looking into his autobiography it states that he has won an award by The Idaho Press Club naming him Rookie of the Year in 2015. He even has previous works and I had no trouble finding him when searching his name. There are no question on the relevance and logic on the article that he has written. The videos title helps broaden the music videos purpose. Cage the Elephant describes the mans (main person throughout the music video) thoughts of his lost ones. His conscious is telling telling him that he alone, everyone he cares about is dead, except his wife. The specific lyrics " my life I have seen people walk into the sea.  Just to find memories plagued by constant misery" emphasizes how people like him and his wife look back on the memories of their lost loved ones and live in misery realizing that it is just the two of them. The beginning of the music video portrays these lines with him looking back on photos of his friends and family. The scene of him running and wondering around emphasizes his subconscious running around not knowing where to turn to. " In my past, bittersweet, there's no love between the sheets Taste the blood, broken dreams, lonely times in deed" could explain how he feels that between him and his wife he feels the most lonely and

Amazing Hour  Background The purposes for this article is to share with everyone my experience from being away from my phone for an hour. Since the beginning of middle school I had been exposed to technology. I learned how to live and be accustomed to using such a device to help me throughout my days. I use it for homework, communication amongst my friends, as a clock to help wake me up, to listen to my music, search up the latest news and to help navigate me throughout places that are unknown to me. Being away from my phone for even fifteen minutes gives me anxiety because i feel a sense of loneliness. Experiment I decided to conduct this experiment prior to falling asleep on Sunday September 30 right after work when I had gotten back to my dorm. I had arrived back to my dorm around 10 p.m and decided to do my daily night routine without any music or face-timing any of my friends. My phone kept going off with snapchats and instagram notifications and it took some strength f

This article is from the perspective of a mythical creature, a cyclops. The article is written to help readers understand how to make a profile for online dating, going as fas as using a cyclops as a reference that anyone can make a convincing profile. His responses to answering each question is certainly specific, and the questions (aside from being from perspective of a cyclops) is similar to what any person would write. Reading the title and the introduction I was certainly not expecting a Cyclops to answer the questions, but it seems that it was done to bring humor. Aside from the responses being out of the norm from what a human would write, it did answer the question and enlightened the reader on what to write on profiles for dating websites. The article was more engaging than expected. Normally when coming across an article such as this I would quickly skim and barley look at the purpose or lesson that the article would implicate. In this case the article trying to show best
